Was a little skeptical about it before installing, but looks and feels good. Trigger is right on no reworking, just dropped in. Works great

A much smoother pull even without the D spring.

As far as I can tell, this is the original steel version of the trigger before Beretta cheap'd out and started using the current polymer/steel trigger that comes standard with the gun now. Although the polymer/steel trigger is functional, it's just not very smooth and you can feel the rubbing between the different materials as you squeeze through the travel arc. Wilson makes a very good steel "Short Reach" trigger as well, but I've found that trigger just doesn't reduce the travel to any noticeable degree, is a bit more expensive, and it tends to pinch my finger tip at the end of the travel arc point where the trigger breaks. None of these issues exist with this factory steel trigger. I already had D spring installed so I didn't need it, however I was grateful for the extra trigger ...

  • Well worth the work to install. Especially if you do not like plastic parts in your pistol.

I put this steel trigger kit on a 92 fs that came with the plastic trigger, and it made a big difference in feel-the plastic one felt gritty and while it may have gotten better with use, I am impatient with things like that. If you have some smithing skills you can do this easily, especially with some tube walkthroughs which help but not always accurate in ease. I had a hard time getting the trigger return spring in the proper place and also the slide stop spring was a real pain to keep in place until I came up with a work around to keep the short leg in place. Overall a nice upgrade and a big difference in trigger pull weight and smooth trigger pull action.

  • Easy, inexpensive trigger fix

The double action trigger pull on my beretta 96 centurion was atrocious, so based on my experience with similar modifications, I thought I would try this spring/trigger kit. Installation was easy for an experienced tinkerer, and the results were outstanding. The reduced power hammer spring (16lbs vs 20lbs) and trigger return spring made a huge difference in the double action pull. I don't know if there are any real results from changing the trigger, but I went ahead with it. YouTube helped with the install, no issues there, and genuine beretta parts to boot! Very happy with this product.

  • Beretta 92 FS Steel Trigger, D-Spring and Trigger return spring

After receiving these parts for a Beretta 92 FS that I'm currently working on for another person, I realized that the pistol already had the polymer parts changed out for steel parts. However, I did change out the hammer spring with the included D-Spring which definitely lightened the trigger pull for double action and gave a nice crisp let-off in single action mode. These are quality parts made in Italy specifically for a Beretta 92 FS or M9 auto loading pistol. I'll keep the trigger return spring for future applications. These pistols are noted for having a weak trigger return spring so I'll probably use it in the future for another project for someone else. Most people who purchase a Beretta 92 FS or an M9 do want the polymer parts changed out for steel parts. Why Beretta does not ...

  • Piece of mind

I replaced the stock plastic/metal trigger for piece of mind. I’m sure Beretta did a significant amount of testing before changing over. However, I’m just old school, and old, I have always preferred the original style parts. I notice the safety is a bit sticky, also plastic. So that should have been next, except it is a major take down. Also, replacing the plastic magazine release with a Wilson Combat extended on required quite a bit of fitting (should have used Beretta), because of that I’m leary about replacement for the safety. The trigger fell right in no problem.
