In the era of classic Arcade strategy style games came an assortment of video games that had there own twist. The most classic of these games are Klax, Tetris, Bust-a Move and Columns. Objects drop from a distance from the top of the screen and the player must stack these objects correctly in order to obtain points. If mistakes are made and the the objects reach the top of the screen the game is over. The object of Columns is similar to Klax or Bust-a-Move were color matching is the key to success. Each object that is droped are in groups of three linear colors stones called "Columns." The Columns can not be turned side ways. They stay stacked one on top of the other. The color order within the Columns can be changed by a press of a button. Match three colors in a row the stones disappear and the player receives points. The vanished stones allow for the other stones to fall if there is any above them. This usually happens when the match is from side to side or diagonal. The falling stones can match with other stones and the player can accumulate a large amount of points. This is a classic game and is a must buy for the Sega Master System, Sega Genesis or Sega Game Gear. Thanks for reading, Master Mark S. KanaarRead full review
