About this product

Product Information

Players take the role of a rookie working the graveyard shift at the Las Vegas Crime Lab in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation -- 3 Dimensions of Murder. Based on the television series, 3 Dimensions of Murder includes five solvable cases and help from such CSI cast members as Grissom and Katherine if players hit a brick wall. To effectively categorize and analyze evidence, CSI now features the Mobile Crime Lab so gamers may get the incriminating objects off to the lab as quickly as possible.

Three difficulty levels allow stay-at-home sleuths of all skill levels to solve the case at hand by altering the amount of help made available to each player. There are five different options that alter the ease of being a detective. For example, players can turn off "hot spots" and tags to make locating evidence more difficult, or keep them on for easier identification. When items are collected, gamers may have to process objects multiple times to obtain all the information needed. Containers can be tested for chemicals and fingerprints just as paper can be checked for fiber content and written information.

    Great Game

Great Game. I don't even watch the show, just love the game.

  • great game play with a few short comings

first let me say, i love csi, which is why i bought the game. the game is tough, you actually have to think like a csi at times. you have to collect evidence, question suspects, get warrents to search or bring poeple in for questioning, ect. just like the show. What makes this game a bit of a headache though. The questioning is quite drawn out and gets a bit boring, i found myself just tryign to get threw the questioning as fast as i could but then i found myself missing something important to the case, load times are farily long, i dont' like the first person point of view game play but thats just my opinion. The game is a real brain cruncher. if you don't have a lot of time to play the game, you won't get anywhere, but if you have time and patience, you'll do well.

  • a little unrealistic, but still fun

I like the CSI TV shows, and of course imagine myself involved in the investigations. This game is a little slow compared to watching it on TV, but still enjoyable. Once you get used to operating the controls and maneuvering through the game, it is actually pretty simple to play. The only thing I don't like is that it's a one-person game, so if I want to play with friends, we have to take turns looking for evidence. Still a fun game overall, with just enough of a challenge to keep me occupied, but not so much to frustrate me!

  • CSI 3 Dimensions of Murder PS2

The PS2 version moves and flows like the tv show you are paired with one of the stars from the original cast set in vegas. In the game you gather evidence and take it to the lab to be compared and you must also gather warrants and question suspects. I really like how they show the path of the weapon and the damage to the body it's just like the tv show awesome.

  • CSI-PS2 Dimensions of Murder

ALL of these ps2 versions have a bug and you get to a certain point where you have completed all the tasks, rechecked with the walk-through several times, and cannot go any further in the game after only one day of playing...After several attempts to redo the game over and over,no luck, online everyone says this game has a bug. Then we bought the pc csi game and that sucks too, basically the same problem. My kid is a csi fanatic and I felt like I let her down when these csi games ended up to have bugs,no wonder why the guy sold it to me so cheap on here.Check a game's rep before you buy, buyer beware!!!
