Volume 2 has a good collection of Capcom hits from the "Golden" and "Silver" ages of the arcades. Back in the 90s, the arcade business was thriving, gamers competed next to one another, years before the internet and multiplayer were available to the masses. Back then, arcade machines reigned over the console system market but technology improved, eventually phasing out the arcades, taking away all hope of playing these classics again, until now. Featured games like Black Tiger for example is a true classic that's still a challenging game today. 1uped by other side scrolling classics like Magic Sword, Captain Commando, Knights of the Round and King of Dragons with Capcom style graphics and their own unique adventures. Along the way, characters pick up iconic items like weapons, power-ups, extra lives, food and currency in the form of gold coins or treasure chests to name a few. Now onto Strider, this was a different game in its own right not to mention the most obscure arcade machine back in the day. When I started playing this game I thought the sword-slashing move would suck but wow was I wrong! This game was so addictive, the mechanical enemies that came at you were a thrill to kill and the bosses were huge at the time. However, Strider is a short game but difficult to beat which will keep gamers entertained for hours. Capcom was also known for their quarter-eating shooters like 1941, Eco Fighters, Last Duel, Side Arms and Varth also included in this collection. The longer you play these games the more power-ups you aquire and the more devastating your weapons become. With a wide assortment of enemies to shoot at and bosses to defeat, these games will keep gamers occupied for awhile. Capcom dominated the arcades with their popular Street Fighter series through out most of the 90s with Street Fighter and Super SFII Turbo. Street Fighter features original characters like Sagat, Ken and Ryu (with red hair) to name a few with extensive character biography's and this game is still fun to play. If you appreciate the history of fighting games then play the original Street Fighter first and you'll see how far fighting games have evolved since then. Capcom continues to expand the Street Fighter series on the Wii, 3DS, XBOX 360, XBOX ONE, Vita, PS3 and PS4 systems. Super SFII Turbo, (the best in the series) raised the bar for how future fighting games are designed. Super SFII Turbo has exceptional graphics, colorful uniforms, beautifully detailed backgrounds with a perfectly adjusted fighting system and countless replay value to boot. Capcom decided to add a new super meter to the game which enables the characters to perform super-combo and super-combo finisher moves against their opponents with a full meter. In addition, 2 secret characters Old Sagat and Akuma are playable by using a code. Street fighter fans were addicted to this game and even today, Super SFII Turbo tournaments are held around the world proving this legendary game will be around for many generations to come. All in all, this collection is a must-have for old-school gamers that enjoyed the arcades back then. If you want a piece of gaming history then buy Vol.2 before it disappears into the digital age for good!Read full review

First of all twenty dollars for twenty classic arcade games. Can you find a better deal than that? Considering most of these games in their heyday retailed thirty dollars or more. Stree fighter two turbo, need I say more? Even better is the tutorial for this game( in case you forgot how to play). The King of dragons a great hack n slash, only outshined by Knights of the Round. Quiz and dragons a great tool to sharpen you eighties trivia. The ninja is the best character by the way, with the ability to take two life points away per correct answer. All in all hours of fun, even though some of the games will seem too brief and leave you wanting for more.
What can I say that you don't know already? Great selection of classic arcade games from Capcom. Even some more obscure and Japan only releases. I miss my teenage days playing Knights of the Round and King of Dragons in the arcade. Now I can do it at home! Captain Commando, like 3 versions of Street Fighter II, etc. etc. Great collection for Capcom lovers!
This game has a ton of arcade classics. I would like to find more games like this ! Great value thank you sender !
