Released concurrently with the computer-animated Disney feature film, Bolt allows players to take control of the super-pooch when he's truly in his element -- in the starring role of his fictional television series. While the movie follows the real-world adventures of Penny's brave but delusional puppy as he makes his cross-country trip home, the video game plays out in the comic book world of Bolt's show-within-the-movie, where overdrawn villains threaten at every turn, and where his canine superpowers are in full effect. In third-person action-adventure style, players control both Bolt and Penny through a variety of super-spy adventures, in five intriguing locations around the globe. As Penny, players face platform-puzzle missions requiring stealth and agility. As Bolt, players can dash through the air to knock down one bad guy after the next, blast away with laser eyes, and bring the whole scene to a halt with an earth-quaking super-bark.

    Little too Violent

    I thought it would be the same as the movie. I was expecting gun fire and shooting from Helicopters. I guess for someone who likes that, this game would be fun. I try to keep my son from playing games with gun or violence.

    Fun clean game for kids,

    Bolt is a rather simple game that that easy to play and beat. It makes for an excellent children’s game. There aren’t very many puzzles or places that it takes a lot of brain power to get through but some areas can be challenging. The graphics are nice and the plot is interesting with Bolt actually being a super hero making things a little unpredictable seeing as the game fallows its own plot line and not the movies. The game controls to, are simple, usually corresponding with Bolt for example, for Bolt to use ground pound you quickly lift then lower both the Wii remote and nun chuck simultaneously to make Bolt jump then slam into the ground. This game also offers you a chance to play as Penny several times throughout the plot which can be a refreshing change of pace. All in all ...

    VERY disappointing!!!

    I bought this game because my little one LOVES the movie & we like playing games for fun @ home, so figured "why not" after playing this game and moving onto different levels, we realized there is not much to this story and it is the same repetitive moves over and over and over. Basically to sum it up, the animation is not that good, the game itself is not much of a story, it doesn't follow the movie, it follows the fake part of the movie of the spy stuff. It it nothing but fighting, there is this helicopter that chases you and shoots at you with a machine gun type gun... yeah, not good for kids. Oh & Bolt just picks bad spy dudes up and slams them around and head butts them over and over and over. I am disappointed, they messed up with this game & whoever made it went with the wrong ...

    Very Good game.... Except....

    It would be better if you can stay as one characture instead of bouncing back and forth from Penny to Bolt. Pretty easy game untill you reach the sixth or seventh level then it becomes more of a challange. Would recommend this game for that fact.
