I had this game as a kid and along with Battlechess on an old Tandy computer, this is what taught me to play chess. This gets a 5-star rating not because it's a graphical or audio powerhouse, but because it is one of the most accurate and amazing chess simulators available still to this day. 21 years after its release, it still holds up to many PC chess titles with all of its customization involving skill level, board set up, rules, etc. This was also the start of a great PC gaming series. If you are a fan of retro games and LOVE chess, this title is a MUST HAVE for your collection!
I like Chess Master because you can play by yourself for how long as you want to play it for. I got it for not that lot of money. it is a good value.
