The Adventures of Dino Riki is one of the hardest games you'll ever play. There is just so much on the screen at once so you better try to max out your weapons as quickly as possible. In terms of NES quality, the graphics and animations are great. The controls are tight and very responsive though some slowdown is to be expected when there is too much on the screen for the NES to handle. I think what drew me in more than anything was the challenge though. Getting through level one alone is a feat let alone level four! If you love the NES or are a hardcore gamer, pony up the 4 bucks or so it will cost to obtain this underrated gem.
Traditionally this type of game play is place on a futuristic scenario with spaceships and evil aliens. Dino Riki Breaks away from that tradition and brings the shooting-top-view-vertical scrolling action to a Different perspective! Placed in the Paleolithic era with all kinds of prehistorical creatures. Armed with pebbles the character grabs upgrades to enhance his speed and weapon to Stone Axes, Boomerangs and fire! jumping pits, lakes and more. A really fun game with great music too, so catchy you'll keep singing it for a long while!!
i remember as a young child playing this game never got a chance to beat it before taking it back but its a great game loved playing it i never thought id see this game agian but thanks to a trusted seller i finally got it agian.The game features a cave man type character fighting dinosaurs and other creatures.one thing i always disliked was the scroll type screen that moves and makes you move in the process.

A good classic, arcade-style game. I remembered playing it when I was little (maybe 5 or 6) and when I stumbled across it I had to buy it. Its not as entertaining as it was back then but thats to be expected. However, it is still a fun and very challenging game.
