The few times I've got the game to work, I kept it on for hours to keep playing it. I was hooked when it first came out and played it religiously before it even became popular. Haven't played it in years cause the game was used 'till it stopped working (just like a scratch record). Bought a brand new one, on ebay, and it didn't work. :/ Cleaned and Adjusted my PS2 lens and it played 1 in 50 tries. Not acceptable, but hey, I eventually got to play it again, after all these years. As for the gameplay itself, it's pretty decent considering it's the first one. Catchy songs, but not nearly as many as the newer games. Sound quality of course is underdeveloped, and the actuall arrow timing is a little off, sometimes difficult to keep my score. But a must have if you want to re-live the songs you've missed.Read full review
DDR is by far one of the most fun interactive games of all time. This is the first release of many to follow. It was very grainy and has poor quality sound, but keep in mind this is only the first game for DDR that was put out. I love it and got hooked immediately!
If you love Dance Dance Revolution, this is the collectors item to have. This is the original game that started it all in the United States. I remember playing this and i would never forget the songs. Years later down the line, i would never imagine that i would dance to the same songs again. Nothing beats the one that started it all, nothing.

This game plays on the original Playstation 1 and should also play on PS2. The songs are fun. You can play in Game mode or Workout mode. It's a pperfect one to buy if you're not sure about the game.
