For some reason I can't find anyone to tag team this game with me. Is it because the game is not as great as I feel about it? Well, idk. The only real complaint I have with this game would be the excessive bare space in the environments and the inverted shooting. Otherwise, I am a die hard fan of this one honestly

Body Harvest has been called the precursor to the G.T.A. line of games, and in way that's correct. This game spans over 100 years, five areas in the past, all in an attempt to prevent aliens from harvesting the human race. You play as a Super Soldier, and since the game is non-linear, you can go anywhere and do anything! The graphics are early 3-d polygons, so its a bit rough around the edges. All in all, this game is pretty cheap and can deliver hours and hours of just plain fun!

Body Harvest has the sharpest learning curve (time needed to learn how to play well) of any game I have ever played. Indeed, I owned the game for years and played for well over 50 hours before I realised how to succeed in it. The task of learning may be too much for some. But for those with perseverance, the game provides a great experience. Body Harvest has one of the largest worlds of any game I've played: it is simply enormous. The first level of five, Greece, is a bit larger than the size of a average game's world. Partly because of this, the game takes a huge amount of time to complete. But it is a worthwhile experience. The game is largely shoot-em-up, and players get to use a variety of weapons, from machine guns to howitzers, to engage the enemy. But there are also a variety of (often difficult) puzzles to solve, and the chance to meet several interesting characters on the way. Additionally, the game allows the player to command vessels ranging from fire trucks to planes to ships during the course of the game. Body Harvest is a very dark game. After the first level, Greece, it becomes rather desolate, with rainy Java and snowy Siberia providing two good examples. But the battles and puzzles are engaging and the storyline is well-developed. If you can devote the time to learning how to play properly, you will be gratified and rewarded.Read full review
One of the better 64 games mainly because of the open world environment. You can enter buildings and interact with containers as well as npcs. Vehicles are in the world to be used at your disposal. An early 3D GTA style game where you save people from insectoid aliens. A must try or replay for Nintendo 64. Controls take some getting used too. Otherwise, good game recommended.

Body Harvest is an old school video game that is very much fun to play. Although I've read through the ENTIRE instruction booklet, this games seems to be tough when it comes to figure out what to do next. It's almost like having your own Johnny Quest cartoon to play. Even though you get just one player, you do get PLENTY of chances to rejuice his power. This game's graphics are fine - even though I've heard others say they didn't care for them at all. I also like the music that starts up when these mutated alien bugs come in for the kill. An hour can easily pass when you play Body Harvest. A good game to own.
