The book on the inside I think might be the same, but the cover of the book is not as pictured. This has made me concerned if I got the version I was needing. I would have preferred it to have been noted or pictured how it was different. This book smells and looks a lot older than what I thought I was getting.

Absolutely beautiful book, faithfully and accurately retells hundreds of Bible stories with their theological content and lessons, without embellishing or reinterpreting them. I would call this more an Illustrated Bible told in story-form, not just Bible Stories. Comes with gorgeous illustrations. Follows the books of the Bible, so it is easy to see from where in the Bible the stories are taken. It seems the editors found every single story in the Bible to include; it even recounts Jesus' parables and Paul's journeys, epistles and speeches. The best Bible Story Book I have come across in 30 years.
I was looking for a Bible for my kids and none came close to this classic favorite. I've read some reviews on different sites before ordering and found out that this little book from the childhood kept many safe and from going astray later on in life as the way it is put together is easy to follow. The best of all the gifts that I've got for my kids that would last them a lifetime. I would definitely recommend.
