For any reason if anyone is looking for a very affordable set of monitor speakers for what ever purposes in listenning to sound especially for a small or large home music studio well look nomore these bad boys here will make you smile each time you fire it up impressive sound, look, and build that really amased me. So I gave these 3 stars simply because of its lack of ability to produce a solid bass response which is typical of reference monitors in this price range. If you are looking for decent reference monitors for an economical price I would definitely get these, also do not order from pro audio star they are terrible with packaging there items, my reference monitors came in a dent in the left speaker.

I bought these after my Klipsch subwoofer speaker system for my computer died. These are far superior in sound quality to the Klipsch by light years. Never again will I ever go the subwoofer route. Ugh. Subsonci frequencies are not all that important to me and these little 3" speakers really pump out the bass volume for their size and cost. Shipping was supposed to be 10 days but they arrived in 4 days! That's unheard of today. Highly recommend this seller. If you want killer good amplified speakers for your laptop, cell phone, MP4 player or whatever, give these Mackie's a try. For just under a sawbuck you cannot complain.

I was surprised of how efficient these speakers were with space and sound. Well worth every dollar spent. They are powerful and were easy to be connected to my stand alone cd player without the requirement of Bluetooth. I like the option of going partially analog without the necessity of direct connecting to Bluetooth or using an amplifier.
