    Good Enough

    These generic versions are a fraction of the cost of the name brand; however, I do notice they are not a comparable quality. They are overall thinner with less of the activated charcoal. There also is a few in the bundle with poor seams (where the felt material is not properly fused closed). I'm not certain if this is contributing to the water getting slightly dirtier quicker than the name brand version. For this reason, I'm finding that I'm changing them out quicker (every 2 week filter change with a weekly rinsing and full fountain cleaning, versus previously every 3-4 with weekly rinsing and full fountain cleaning with name brand). Because of the cheaper price, I will continue to use them - I'll just have to reorder them much sooner than I'm used to.

    GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

    Several of these "no name" filters were already coming apart at the sides when I received them. They are much smaller than the name brand and extremely thin. I have already gone through several. Purchased the real thing yesterday and will most likely throw the remainder of these out. My suggestion - don't waste your money on these if you care about quality!

    I do not recommend buying these filters out of the original packing they leached the black dust for weeks even after I took the time to soak and rinse each one, actually turned my cat's water black so yea might be cheaper but at the end of the day the cheap comes out expensive
