This is a GREAT camera, however, the lens selection really stunts the possibilities for professionals. It is fantastic for video, especially when used with prime lenses. As Tony Northrup said, "It's a jack of all trades and a master of none." Really, if you were to buy all the best lenses for it, you still can't specialize with this camera at the moment. Other than that, it's got all the bells and whistles and I find it very easy to use and learn about. For people with large hands, the camera may feel small. The grip is less 'chunky' than that of non-mirrorless cameras.

Bad metering, yellow cast to jpegs, lack of midtones in images, overall mediocre IQ. This should have been an amazing camera given the options for tweaking and 4K and maybe I got the lemon, but despite any efforts through modifying WB color and experimenting with different metering modes I had trouble shooting acceptable images. Given all the positive reviews I was expecting a different. camera. As I said, maybe I got the proverbial eBay lemon, but now realize I should have bought a used NEX 5N instead, saving a bunch of money.

This is a great small, light, camera. The picture quality is super. It is complicated because of its focus tracking but if you want action photos this is what you get. The BIG problem is the limitation of lenses and the cost of these lenses. However, small is better than large if you are walking around a tropical Island. I still have my Sony A99 and A57 for macro, low light, super far shots, wide shots, ALL because of the cost of lenses.

Just upgraded my Nex 5 to the 6300 and just love it. Just a tad larger and easier to use. Love the viewfinder and built in flash. 4K video is great.
