For this type of radio I like it. When you don't have room for a real radio. Yes modulation can be set if you take mike apart not really needed however. Don't tweak or tune up carrier not enough heat sink to tune up to hi. Radio squelch adjust on mic is nice feature being a variable pot I like more then new type that you set at levels instead. Great for tight spots.

This radio gives you a lot in a small package, but if you plan to use it often I'd go with a model 29 for something like it. I had no room to mount a full sized radio, so this worked out great. The reception isn't great and the on/off/volume dial feels janky. I guess we'll see what happens.

If you want a CB but don't want the hassle of the traditional deck and space it takes up. This is for you. I mounted this in my 1997 F150 and its perfect, it doesn't take up a ton of space and I can switch channels in my hand. I will probably buy another for my other vehicle.
