It's great the Justice was Served This book, "A Perfect Husband" tells the true story of not one, but TWO women, who were killed by "falling down the stairs". Just reading the evidence and the amount of blood that was left at the crime scene PROVES that these falls were not accidents. The author, Aphrodite Jones retells this story quite well, and gives her readers all of the information that pertains to this case. This horrifying crime will captivate readers and make them root for first degree murder charges against Michael Peterson. Very good true crime book and I highly recommend this as well as the other books written by this author.
I bought this book after seeing a documentary about the same subject. I had seen some comments online which seemed to say that the documentary was biased and one sided. So I was curious to read about it and get another side of the story. This book definitely gives you another side to the story, but it does lean very heavily in that direction. As long as you go into it knowing that it is very biased in the "guilty" direction, and keep that in mind in your reading, I found that it does bring up some interesting points that I had not heard before. However, I did not care for the style in which the book was written. Jones tended to repeat her points, and bring up points, which she then did not explain. She would repeatedly bring up evidence shown in trial, but then not explain it's importance or meaning. The book probably could have used one more editing session. It does provide some interesting photos, and overall is a good read if you had followed this trial, or learned about it afterwords. Written in Blood, by Diane Fanning is also on the same subject, and is written a little better.Read full review
This book is horribly written and full of grammatical errors. It's also very repetitive. A lot of filler, and info repeated for no reason. You could find all of the information in this book for free online. The book " Written in Blood" (D. Fanning) is far better, and while somewhat dramatic, not nearly as dramatic as this drivel.
