Good starter pack but be prepared to add to it.
This pack is a little lean. I got two of them (one for each of our vehicles) because they were such a good price. I would say most folks that buy this would be able to stretch the food and water supplies to 5 days for one person maybe but if anybody else is with you there definitely won't be enough. Just be prepared to add to it. There's plenty of room left in the bag so I added more food packets similar to what comes with it, some clothing essentials like socks, gloves and beanies, a much more comprehensive FAK along with an additional fire kit. I don't know how well this extra added weight is going to affect the bag itself. I'm not backpacking with it everyday. It just sits in my vehicle for emergencies. The material that the bag is made of, the seams and the zippers I've rated a 6 out of 10. I have a lot of EDC bags, bug out bags etc. and this is nowhere near the quality of those but that's to be expected based on what I paid for this bag and the supplies. This bag is definitely worth purchasing to store for emergencies, gift to a family member or friend or if you want and easy no muss no fuss emergency kit for one person to throw in your vehicle. It'll give you that piece of mind but I would not plan on using it everyday because I can see it wearing out pretty quickly.Read full review

This is a great start for a item like this. Remember tp, tooth brush, fire starters, and a bottle that purifies water, knife, hand towels, dish soap etc.

Better than not being prepared
Good starter kit a couple items are pretty cheap but all in all a great kit to have on hand. The backpack was more sturdy than expected with lots of room for extra stuff. Glad I got one for everyone in the family.

Safe vs sorry
I bring one of these when I go trail blazing ... Just in case ..if you flip a ankle or dig your bike hit your head . I'd rather have this than trying to catch a squirrel in a Deadfall and have a Dandelion salad... fresh water... I enhanced the pack .. with water purification pills ,a life straw , Lighters/firestarters a good knife sharpening stone and a pistol.. It does not make any sense the idea of a Survival pack without a Firearm.....
