This item fit perfectly on my Kel-Tec KSG shotgun and provides the illumination necessary when I take my dog out for an evening hike where there isn't any background illumination. During a recent daytime walk I found "Wolf" and "Coyote" tracks in the area where we often take hikes, just a little more than a mile from home. Without this light & laser, my mini Schnauzer would be just too good of snack to pass up, and I wouldn't be able to defend him without seeing what and where the predators are.
