The PRIO-SX6 rangefinder works like a champ, but the operating instructions were written by an individual with an obvious lack of complete English. They are also full of computerese, and even though I have a degree in Economics, they're very confusing. I wrote the seller asking for assistance, but no response.

Compact and accurate
This was purchased as a replacement to a 15 year old Bushnell that was having a hard time locking up. I've played about 8 rounds with it at this point. Once I learned the "sweet spot" and to pan the scope over the flag as described in the directions, it locks up quickly and seems to be within a yard of my old scope and my playing partners. The pin seeking function and vibration when locked works well. Other than to test it, I have not used the slope function to date as it would give me a edge over my playing partners. The 6x optics are clear and bright. The LED readout is easy to read. It's smaller and lighter than I expected. I've be extra careful not to drop this on something hard. A rubber case would be a nice option. All things considered as long as it doesn't fail, this is a nice, ... Worth 150$ but its not as accurate as you expensive ones.
I would hate to negatively rate the product because it doesnt perform like a 400$ ranger. Its nice it feels good it does range exact distances 95% of the time with flag reflectors without you get maybe 75%. Ive had it miss yardage by 30 yards 2 time then give me accurate 3 times after that. Ive ranged at a 200+ yard pin at a senior pga tour course and the device read 9 yards one time. Of course you know well that wasnt right so just take 4 or 5 ranges with it and see what you get. I judge it to be very accurate. This is the first laser with a slope adjustment I've ever used, but it seems to work fine, also. Easily goes from standard to slope modes at the touch of a button, too. The battery compartment is just a little less than foolproof, as the screw lid can be difficult to align with the threading. The unit is also smaller than lasers I've used before, so if you have large hands you might find it awkward. Overall, it's well worth the money.I judge it to be very accurate.
