I got this chronograph after a ton of researching and I’ve had zero regrets. I’ve fired a few hundred rounds through it so far and not one error. The only time is has shown an error is when I start it then take my time and a fly or something buzzed through. Every round fired has read perfectly. The app from Caldwell’s makes load development data extremely easy to track. The battery life has also been good. I have to recharge it after about 10 hours of constant use. (Three trips to the range). I prefer this type over the magnetospeed as the strap on style shifts poi and for my uses this performs better, for half the price.

Love the blue tooth. Got a few "errors" but it was super hot and sunny out. I think under better conditions it would have been 100%. Live I love the other features it has. Extreme spread, energy in foot lbs, average and you can take pics of your groups and save them with the readings. And BLUETOOTH. Frigging high tech man.

It worked. I assume it was accurate - I have no idea, but it was in the ballpark. I bought an open box and got a good deal. I tried ti with my bow indoors and it averaged 295 fps - pretty close to what I thought. I tried it today with my bolt action .223. Twenty rounds averaged about 3200 fps, which was about 100 fps over what was advertised - but different guns and different barrels make for different velocities. The Bluetooth and app worked and that is really neat. The quality seems kinda cheap? But, that may seem that way because it is light weight. Again it seems to work very well. However, the tripod is crap; you should get a good solid tripod. Four stars because of that. Nice carry bag. I am very pleased.

Caldwell's innovative rethinking of an already good idea. It's hard to believe these simple chronographs were upside down for so many years before Caldwell turned it over. I have been using this for several days now, and I'm making use of all the features including the free iPhone app that gives the user a great way to read and record the results. The only reason I could not give this five stars is the tripod, which is too light for this device. It will however hold the graph in position if there is no wind.

I've only had a chance to use it twice. It's working very well so far. I really like the blue tooth to my smart phone feature. I get the chrono data to my phone and my phone gives me temp and pressure. Also, being able to put a picture of my group to the data is great.
