Well made, heavy duty. The rear sight seems to have a little play in it, but I think I may be able to adjust that out, but haven't had a chance to mess with it too much yet. Mounted quickly and easily with included tool. They are heavy, and they do protrude from the right side of the weapon pretty far, but they are easy to get used to and fairly easy to use. They do not feel as unnatural to use as you'd think, them being offset as they are.

    Ok so far...

I would recommend putting some blue loc tite on the screws for the 1913 rails. Just for added security. I would also recommend making sure all roll pins are installed securily. They mount nicely. They do not make a big "foot print" as I thought. I installed the front on a 17" super slim m-lok handguard ( all the way at the front ). It cleared a surefire m951 mounted at 3 o'clock on the rail. I have a Leatherman MUT with front sight tool and it works( not sure if a standard front sight tool would work ). The adjustments are very audible and solid. Now, to the rear sight. I installed the rear sight all the way to the rear. You will not have any problems with a scope clearing the top of the mount. I have a 3x32 optic and it accompanies it nicely. Now...the picture on the listing shows a hole ...

    Cheap means Cheap

These sights are made cheap. One of the screws that came with it was already stripped. But, if all you need are cheap sights that may require a little fitting of your own, the price is right. I made them work, but it may have been worth all that effort to just buy a better, more expensive brand.

  • Cheap aluminum 45* offsets surprisingly well made and work well for the money, sighted in easily, hold zero with Loctite, light weight, anodized

For $18 I thought I would take the chance and was pleasantly surprised how well they mounted and how quickly they sighted it. I have them sighted in at 25 yards within five shots on an Aero Precision 308 16" rifle. I added some Loctite to the threads before I installed them and so far they seem to hold. They're made of lightweight aircraft aluminum and are anodized black. No issues storing in a case or gun bag and they don't snag on anything thus far. For the money they are very well made for just a quick simple back up option. Not a fan of the MADE IN CHINA thing but, they work for me.

  • GREAT BUIS!!!

When you spend a good deal of money on optics, sometimes you don't have a lot left over for 'Name Brand' back up sights! Anyway, I can find no difference in the quality of this set of sights and a set that cost 10 times as much! I'll be buying these to go on all future builds of mine! Great Price and Great Product!

  • Front and Rear 45 Degree Offset Rapid Transition BUIS Backup Iron Sight Set

I love this sight and have one on each of my rifles, it does take a little getting use to when shooting but nothing that would be a show stopper. the only change i made was replacing the front sight pin to a fiber optic pin so that it draws my eye to it quicker.
