My second Burris XTR II. I have it's big brother 8X40X50. The turrets on these scopes are stiff but absolutely precise click per click. They are a bit heavy but this is because they are built to take abuse and maintain their shot placement. The lighted reticle on the 4X20X50 is brightness adjustable and is plenty bright for daylight use. Both XTR II scopes are crisp and bright. I've been a Leupold guy for over 30 years with rear focal plane and millerad reticles but am very happy with these Burris XTR II scopes with Front focal plane and MOA system.

I would say clarity is comparable to vortex products in the same league, but the burris seems to be built more rugged. Also, true zero stop turrets are nice, all of the adjustment dials are firm with no slop or play.

The scope is amazing, very clear glass, the magnification is a little stiff moving from 4 to 20, that is the only draw back, other than that this scope is amazing I like everything going about it. Especially for the price. WOW...

Nice scope, like my other Burris Products. You can expect premium scope performance out of this one and get it.
