I have Leupold, Nikon, and Vortex scopes costing hundreds more. I have two Barska scopes mounted on low cost rifles. Remington 783 270cal scope and rifle new for under $350. That don't get close to just the scope price of a Leupold VXII or a Vortex Viper I own. I am not saying the Barksa is a better scope than VXII or the Viper. I will say it works well and has good Optics+better than Nikon eye relief. If you don't have the $$$ for a USA made scope Barksa is a viable option for putting food on the table.

Very difficult to get eye relief adjusted properly. Unable to get a good sight picture. You can see the internal components while looking through the scope which is very distracting. Think I would have been better buying a cheap Centerpoint or BSA. Barska's are usually pretty decent..

I have been vary happy with ever Barska product I've bought I have 2 pr of binoculars, 1 spotting scope and this scope is the sixth one I've put on my rifles. Vary good quality at a fair price.

My first purchase was used on a .223 bolt action, very clear image at 200 yards for my tired eyes. This one is headed for my .308 bolt action. I am confident it will perform just as well.
