Very similar to an Ontario RAT3 or Esee, but blade is a tad thicker. Haven't had the chance to really abuse it yet,ergo the 4 stars, but I see no reason it wouldn't hold up, even though made in China. Arrived very sharp, with a good grind. Sheath and clip are comfortable and lite, with good retention. Handle and ergonomics are very nice. EDC item. I'm satisfied.

I was hoping this was a great clone of the RAT-3. Even though it is nowhere near the quality, you can own 4-5 of these for the same price and this is not a cheap 10 dollar knife you get at a gas station. no matter what, it is worth more that the advertised price. If the RAT-3 score is a 100% the CIMA is about a 70%. The steel is OK and good for the price. The micarta scales are decent. My score would have been a 75-80 but the sharp edge by the choil needs to be dulled down a bit to avoid cutting a finger when having a finger by the blade there.

Can not beat it for $20. Feathering, batoning, skinning, etc. good camp knife. Keep a sharpener in your pack. The edge doesn't keep like a 1095. Blade is thick but can still be used as a utility/prep knife. I would keep a mora 511 for my prep and the cima for camp. Both are budget knives and well worth the money.

Very pleased with this knife! Fit and finish is excellent, super sharp thick blade, very comfortable Micarta handle. This is one sturdy knife! Also, even though the sheath rattles a tiny bit, knife retention is secure. The price is great for what you get. I own an Esee 6 and this thing looks and performs just like it, only smaller.
