I bought this to use on a 22 Nylon rifle and it works very well. It is very easy to adjust the elevation and wind-age. The only complaint is that at 60 yards the cross hairs cover the complete dime target. I draw a circle around a dime on a plain piece of printer paper. The red laser works well. Don't leave it on when not in use as about 3 hours will deplete the batteries. I am impressed with the quality of the Holographic Dot Sight. I put in on a Sig Mosquito for testing. After adjusting it I shot 40 rounds at 25 yards as fast as I could pull the trigger. I could cover the pattern with a dollar bill. It was 9:15 to 9:20 PM very close to dark. I will not keep it on the gun as it creates to much bulk with the Sig scope adapter. I would recommend any of these items if you need an inexpensive scope.Read full review

Potentially the best optics package available anywhere at this price! The one I received had grease or some contaminant on the inside of the eyepiece, which could not be cleaned without disassembling the scope. I mounted it on a Crosman 2400KT. It was easy to zero in. I shot around a hundred pellets and it stayed zeroed throughout the time. Point of aim at various magnification settings seemed to be consistent. Focus is set at quite a long distance ( around 100 yards) so when shooting at targets at 30 yards they were somewhat out of focus. I used the lower magnification settings which helped. I have no idea how well this scope would hold up on a springer or air piston pellet gun, but on my CO2 air gun I believe it will be rugged enough. Pros: very clear reticle, red dot and laser can be removed and mounted on other guns, easy to zero with no tools needed, scope windage and elevation have nice tactile and audible clock stops, scope illumination variable and very bright at highest setting. Scope stays zeroed throughout zoom range. Scope will mount on either 11MM or 20MM rails. Red/green dot sight seemed well built - but can only mount on 20MM rails. Cons: Contaminant on inside of eyepiece. Focus of scope is at far distance (100 yards or so), blurry at closer ranges but still usable especially at lower magnification settings, Built in scope mount reduces flexibility of mounting positions, which may affect eye relief which is 2.75” - 3-1/4” (scope rings would give more flexibility), addition of mounting rails on sides and top of scope, if not used add additional weight. There were spots on the inside of the adjustable eyepiece that although they did not significantly affect use of the scope - they were still visible. Red laser worked initially, but then quit - I replaced the batteries and it is now working.Read full review

reticle if pretty clear. Lighting option works well. crosshairs were initially a little sticky, but adjusted out ok . Im a little sketchy on this "rugged construction" question. Mine is mounted on a .17 cal rifle with little to no recoil. It should be ok for me. If it were on a big rifle Im not so sure it could take the abuse.

I bought three of these so far far and so apparently I really like them. You really get a lot for the money. The only problem I've had is that the batteries for the laser site are sometimes dead and I had to buy some online to replace them with.

Is there better scopes out there yes but at what price most of us can not spend $200 or more on a scope and most of us will never need to. This scope is more than you would ever expect for the price clear and durable. I have 3 of these scopes two on black powder and one on my 7mm I have never had a problem with any of them.
