InSinkErator How Water Dispensers aren't easy to fix because the manufacturer does not sell replacement parts for the tank, nor I am aware of any after market parts. So I purchased this unit for parts for my existing Dispenser. Upon examination, it had a stripped temperature dial, which prevented it from reaching higher temperatures and a small leak in the overflow tank. Some glue and a few clips in the right places and it now works good as new. Heats to 200F with no problems or leaks.

I was replacing an InSinkerator Hot1. This one is also fairly quiet, and works well so far. I with the spout were more flexible, since it doesn't quite clear the edge of the sink, but it is more stylish and the push button works well. The installation was a bit tricky, since it is not as compact as the old one, but somehow I got it in, working through a single kitchen cabinet door under the sink, with an InSinkerator garbage disposer in the way.

It was easy to hook up, it's pretty quiet, and it is much safer than using a teakettle. My Mom won't be burning up anymore teakettles on the stove! She loves it!!!

Our replacement Insinkerator Hot Water Dispenser does just that, "Dispenses Hot Water". The only problem we experienced is that the water tasted oddly metallic for a while after installation. I filled and drained it several times, but it still had an odd taste for several days. It has finally started to resume a normal taste to the water.

I love the fact that all you do is push a button for the hot water instead of cranking a knob that eventually causes the device to loosen up on the counter
