I bought this for use at my shooting club when "range cold" is called. I can wear it over cold weather gear and I'm sure it will be fine over a sweater or a t shirt. It could probably be concealed under a coat just fine. Fits a 4" revolver really nicely but serves my purpose for any handgun. One criticism, I think the "outer" piece of the snap should be on longer strap.
