It was cheap and it got here quickly. I read other reviews that claimed the coffee tastes metallic, but I don't think it does at all. Maybe if you're a coffee snob that thinks they're a coffee critic for Starbucks? If you just want a quick, strong cup of coffee in the morning, it's perfect. I ran 2 full tanks of water through it before I used it and haven't had one problem with the taste of my coffee. The steamer works well, too.

THE WORST THING ABOUT THE MAKER IS THE LID TO THE WATER RESERVOIR WHICH IS SO HARD TO REMOVE THAT A COUPLE MORNINGS I HAD TO WAIT FOR MY SON TO REMOVE IT BEFORE BREWING MY FIRST CUP OF THE DAY! i ACTUALLY INITIATED STEPS TO RETURN IT BUT DECIDED AGAINST IT.
