Freud had it right. Dawkins modified his title to: "The God Delusion." Dan Barker simply had had it with "God." His book's title, "God: The Most Unpleasant Character in All Fiction."

This book surprised me wrt how brief and easy to read it is. The first few pages can be a bit difficult, but overall this is a breeze to read. If you are interested in Freud's views on the psychological origins of religion, andhis views as to its present day value to humanity, then this book is very insightful.
Fascinating material, great for philosophy majors. The reading is a little higher than average reading level, and it takes some thinking; but once you take the time to understand it, the reader can really get a new way of thinking.
