These are a fine addition to your current lightning setup as add on for seedlings. May work alone for succulents or something. Mine are coupled with 330 watt CFL (65 real watts) and they work just fine to fill the color gap the CFL is not providing. I keep mine 6" inches above the plant. When my plants get mature above 10-12" they go to the adult section under the real Grow Lights

I was impressed with the light for the $$. It is small. It give off little to no heat. It's ok for starts. may need heating pad. But to full bloom, transfer under a different light, or add more light to it.

I am one who always goes and reads the bad reviews 1st and so with this fixture I did the same. Even though it had several bad reviews this fixture had some good reviews too. I took a chance and have gone from a plan Florissant blub 100 watt to this light. Now I have only used this LED light for almost 2 weeks my plants have gone crazy in rapid growth. They love this new lighting fixture. I will be buying another one today. Its a simple basic plastic framing but all lights working and the plastic framing makes it light weight and easy to hang. For the price its a great product.

it is cheap and easy to use in any situation your stuck in tight spaces shat like that , I've been getting some simple plants started like sunflower and morning glory and them from seed to 4 inches in a week it seems the photosensitive to this type of lights! I say 20$ something do it !

I bought this light, not really expecting much in quality or effectiveness. But boy was I totally surprised. As a hobby I grow avocado plants. I start them in water and normally it takes them about 6-8 weeks before they open up and a root appears. But when I bought this light and placed it about 18 inches above them they sprouted a root in less then 3 weeks. Just using the light about 10 hours a day. I like this light so much I ordered 2 more. If you have indoor plants, not only will they stay alive, but they will grow extremely fast.
