ToCA Race Driver 2: The Ultimate Racing Simulator is the follow-up to Codemasters' original Pro Race Driver. Like the first game, this sequel features a series of racing challenges strung together using a reality TV-styled storyline. A total of 31 licensed and fictional race locations offer 52 tracks for more than 15 different racing styles, such as GT sports car racing, Street Racing, Rally, and Rally Cross. <br><br>The game's new "Terminal Damage Engine" was developed to accurately reflect various types of damage in both the appearance and performance of the player's car. Damage sustained by cars in the game is based on actual observations made while viewing real-life racing accidents. Each virtual car was developed with thousands of deformation points, allowing for realistic collision consequences that could prove to be educational, if not gut-wrenching. Sound effects were created with similar devotion to detail -- if the player drops a transmission or throws a rod, the sound will be unmistakable.<br><br>Race Driver 2's single-player mode features competition against 11 other racers for a shot to be part of the Grand Prix Team. Online multiplayer races support up to 16 players. There are 35 different cars available to race (or destroy), including beauties such as the Astin Martin Vanquish, Jaguar XKR, AMG Mercedes CLK, and Ford GT.

Finally it arrived, I see why some collectors don't want it and it's because apart from the stamp it doesn't come in a box with its section for the memory card, it's a generic box and without an advertisement other than the manual. I have no problems since other than that everything comes with an original color manual, thick paper cover and blue disc. I recommend the seller, the price was ok.

    Only problem: Toca 3 is better.

    Toca 2 is a fantastic racing game, very realistic and very playable at same time. It features a variety of racing disciplines so anyone can find something they like and it supports split screen multiplayer, something I wish modern games did. I believe it compares quite favorably to the more well known racers of the time including GT3 and the original Forza. Only problem: Toca 3 is better.

    Its a good racing game.

    I had previously owned this game, but decided to buy it again so I could fish the career mode. It is full of different cars to drive and they all handle differently.The damage modeling is second to none for the time this game came out.

    Great Racing game!

    I found this game on sale at an Ebay store and WOW what a pleasant surprise. My favorite thing about this and most games is that it is simple and lots of fun to play! It doesnt take long to get the hang of it, yet its tons of fun! I like it alot! One of the best Ive played!

    nowhere near what i expexted it exceeds expectations

    the storyline, choice of vehicles along with the realistic driving controls make it as close to forza i've ever found
