I recommend these Alesis powered speakers. Good bang for the buck with an added bass boost switch. Simple and uncomplicated with a good look. Balanced TRS 1/4" input jacks as well as RCA type jacks are perfect for most uses. Extremely low noise (no hiss) with plenty of room filling sound. You won't be disappointed. I'm not.

I have economy bookshelf speakers that copy the stated range of frequency much better than these. They look great. They're not terrible if you keep the volume low. The higher the volume (1/3rd or above) the more the copy diminishes. I'm a cheapskate who is learning the lesson. Spend a little more for a better set. Trust me.

I was very surprised at the price. I've used the elevate 3's for about 4 years as a "B" monitoring system in my recording studio. The 5's of course reproduce lower frequencies better and more in line with what mainstream 13 to 45 age group is listening to. Obviously this helps me mix more accurately for this group. Great product!

I purchased these as a gift for someone but I did help set them up and had a chance to give a listen. Overall great sound for the money and they were exactly what I expected being that I personally own the Alesis Monitor One's and Monitor Two's and they still sound great. As far as the shipping they came a couple days earlier than expected and also factory sealed so overall a five star experience!

The sound quality is great and what ever you heard it is pretty close to what you recorded.
