    USA’s Mother Road

    Even though the book is now 20+ years old, the story of Route 66 hasn’t changed. Well-written on a fascinating part of US history, what’s not to love? If you’ve ever heard of Route 66, this book is for you.

    Great Photos of Old Route-66 - but needs a detailed route map.

    I liked the multitude of vintage and current photos, but was disappointed that there was not a comprehensive map showing the Old Route 66 in detail and its relationship and location to the current road network and the routes it took in the towns and cities it passed through.
