Great Bracket, Poor Memory Lock
Great replacement for the SC-TL2 when the latter gets worn out and loses grip. Definitely an upgrade. The bracket itself is excellent, but the added memory lock is poor. It is a simple, no-hinge device that--once you've tightened it--will stay tight even if you loosen it and will not slide over the L-rod. You will have to pry it open with a screwdriver if you want to reposition it. Poor design, needs hinge instead of tension screw
Gilbraltar usually makes great products but dropped the ball on this one. It should have a hinge instead of the tension screw, it make it practically impossible to mount tom on tom arm and having to go through the same process just to change drumheads.

Has to buy bolts
The bolts that come with these are not long enough to go through the shell of the drums. I had to go to buy bolts, washers and lock washers. Not what I was expecting :(
