Way better than expected
I got these hoping they'd be ok... I'm not the best drum tuner so I hoped these would help a bit. These little plastic rims are absolutely amazing!! They make every drum you put them on sound super deep and bass-y yet the drum stays loud and not muffled. I'm not exactly sure how they make such a difference but they one million percent do! I have a double bass set that I put together Ludwig and pearl drums and I have one of these studio rings for every single drum in my set and they all sound absolutely amazing! The test is simple, just hit your drum, whether it is the snare, any of your upper toms or floor Toms and then put the ring on the top and hit it again. You will hear a humongous difference.
