When properly working, it's a necessity when planning my day!
The unit does NOT work. It was NOT new ~ it had greasy fingerprints on it which I had to wipe off with cleaning wipes, and the grooves of the speaker had to be cleaned out with a vegetable brush. I was replacing my decades-old unit, so I am familiar with the unit and like the ease in which it is supposed to work. When properly working, a detailed weather forecast is provided for my area up to a week in advance from the national weather service.The unit does NOT work.
