It's a good, simple pedal. Not the greatest but something you can cut your teeth on if you're unfamiliar or uncomfortable with effects pedals. Has a nice chimey almost a touch of flange effect along with the chorus to give it a unique voicing. A little tiny bit noisy but its to be expected of warm analog sound. I find it best to put it in the effects loop on your amp. Doing this quiets it down a bit and takes care of a small volume drop in the pedal. Overall I'm happy with the pedal. It's pretty good. Not glorious but pretty good for its simplicity.
the ehx nano pedals are known for clean quite sound in bypass and engaged mode but this pedal was not. no matter how i sequenced the pedal or the use of 3 different power supplies there was still a harsh static growl which i could not get rid of. none of my 4 other ehx pedals produce this aggravating static. bob.

This is hands down the best chorus effect pedal for the money on the market. I bought it not only because it was affordable, but also because it is a great size for pedalboards in a virtually indestructable enclosure--it is the Small Clone, just smaller. One knob, one click. Quarter turn and you have Pearl Jam's signature guitar sound from this secret weapon. Another quarter turn and you have Nirvana. Once you start playing around with this pedal, you will evoke sounds from artists that make you think, "That's how they did that!" This is a pedal that sound be in any self-respecting guitarist line up, for sure!
Very satisfied. Quick & easy. Pre-owned in top shape.

Since it has the same chipset as the Small Clone, the EHX Neo Clone is simple, analog chorus, but in a smaller box. It's great if you need the space on your board, not to mention it has true bypass. Lush, organic chorus. A winner in my book.
