    This is a tremendously thought provoking book. I read this book as a young strategy consultant working for a large Asian financial services client looking to innovate in its market. This book helped us set our recommendations to the clients, which were followed & resulted in a very successful new business launch. Mr. Christensen is a Harvard Business School professor whose doctoral thesis evolved into this book. His doctoral thesis won the best research paper of the year by the way... beating out thousands for papers written by noted economists & tenured professors. Mr. Christensen uses a case study of the rapidly changing hard disk drive industry to make his key point: that industry leading companies are structurally handicapped from making the ground-changing innovations necessary ...
