Finally opened this and the two nuts holding the bridge in were loose and the strings have a fuzz ring to them which tells me it's a bad saddle or warped neck

    I love my brand new ovation guitar.

    Well first off it is a beautiful guitar. Secondly, I've owned three Ovation guitars in the past, bought them used, but very good condition I was happy with them. But this is my first brand new ovation and the action on the neck, it's just a beautiful guitar I love it. Thank you again for a great guitar. I will recommend you till the end of the Earth. Thank you again.
