Product was as described, though a slight "crack" on the inside of one of the 1/2s was noted. I wood glued it as best as I could -it was not that deep--something the seller wouldn't have seen and "quality control", if there is any, missed. I found it better to assemble the sides with alignment pins inserted, then slide it on the gun handle-I held the sides together with a padded wood vise ( since I had glued them to each other while I repaired the "crack") Then I inserted the retaining screw.

Very well crafted engineered to fit right out of the box . Easy install if you read the instructions ( i never do so I had a do over) makes my old Taurus Snake Gun look handsome.
