    Just a good overall guitar

    I've heard a lot of positive things about these as well as negative. Mine is well balanced , pickups are good. With a strap on this one is real easy to play , light weight and an excellent low action feel . Wired correctly. Chinese made but a great guitar. A perfect instrument for busking.

    Great Little guitar with the two humbuckers and the one single coil.

    The pickups on mine which is a 2001 model sound great and have plenty of gain. I'm not about the new ones. The guitar stays in tune and the 40-1 micro tuners are wonderful but may be a bit stiff unless you use graphite. The large knob tightens the tension so that the floating bridge stays in tune when it is unlocked. The light weight of these guitars makes them great on stage and for travel. The action on mine was set very low and it plays better then many other guitars that are in a higher price category. If you need a hard case, Sam Ash still has them online as I just bought one (August 2016). Very reasonable price with good build quality. The first ones were made in Korea and the new ones are made in the new Gibson owned Epiphone factory.

    Great to play. Excellent sound. My new favourite guitar.

    Great guitar. Great to play. Great sound, beautiful tones above the 12th fret. The easiest guitar I've owned to play above the 12th fret. Pickups are excellent. Action is a dream and it stays in tune.

    Great product!

    What can I say, it's a Steinberger product! Mine is a lefty model, so you can imagine how happy I was to get a lefty Steiny. Many years back, when I was an up and comer, I grabbed hold of a righty Steinberger and flipped the strings around. Man, did I used to jam on that guitar. I loved the sound of it. I used to play it on a song I wrote called: Crybaby. But then I got used to playing it on others songs too. My producers didn't like me always playing the Steiny. They said it was okay for Crybaby, but no more. They wanted me back on my trusty Strat or Paul. Looked better for show. But I kept on with the `Berger and one day it was gone. The producers had paid $2,200 for it, so it was theirs, not mine. It was the only guitar in my arsenal that I did not own. I really missed that guitar. 25 ...
