Just as good as factory original for half the price
As good as the factory originals.... if not better. They function well. Much better than the more expensive "pro-mag" brand of mags. 6+1 give you 7 rounds of defense at your finger tips. I really like the blue colored follower, it's easy to see. I also added on some "Pearce" brand grip extensions, easy to install, took less than a minute each.

Spare mags for Taurus TCP .380
Not the best; not the worst. They're made in Italy, not USA. One of the two I bought has difficulty accepting the sixth round but worked with effort. Suggest an UpLula for loading to make life easier. Performed about the same as the factory mag at the range. Will probably wear in over time. Not a bad purchase if you're looking for extra mags since the factory supplies only one with the pistol. Taurus has spare mags in stock as well but I was curious on how this brand would perform.Not the best; not the worst. They're made in Italy, not USA. Great magazine
The mec-gar magazine is a good quality magazine. It is just as good as the original factory magazine if not better. I like the blue follower on this mag better than the red one that comes on the factory mag. The price is a great price. I am probably going to be buying another one. I highly recommend if you have a TCP get the mec-gar mag. Mec-gar makes the best magazines.

This company has been manufacturing high quality magazines for many, many years. These particular magazines have much stronger springs than OE tension specs. As a result feed issues will occur on HP ammunition until the springs relax through cyclic activity. Ball ammunition will feed, but still experiences a slight hang delay when going into battery. The OE mags have the precise ratio of tension to allow most ammunition to chamber. So be sure to break these in with ball ammo through repeated use at the range until you know they function flawlessly.This company has been manufacturing high quality magazines for many, many years. Better performance than Stock mags!
I have owned several TCP Taurus .380's over the years and with stock mags many times have had issues with feed until I tweaked the feed ramps. Not with this mag! Fit more precisely that the factory mag and ran flawlessly out of the box. Highly recommend this mag for these particular Pistols even over Factory Taurus mags!
