Maxon VOP-9 BEST All-Around Drive to Find Your Tone
Wow... I wish I had started with this pedal. I could have saved thousands of dollars chasing no more satisfying pedals from every corner of this planet. The available tones and user-controlled parameters (including 9 or 18 volt settings!!!) allow me to not cop every cool tone out there from Black Keys through Brad Paisley and up to the tame side of Judas Priest, but in doing so, I can also find MY tone in this pedal. The tones I enjoy for my music, all the time. My pedalboard just became a "Junior" as I can now push 4 other overdrives into the "for sale" category. It's so easy to use this pedal. And so nice to turn a knob or two on one pedal for any tune, amp, or guitar combination. Before I found this pedal, I used to change one knob on the Blues Driver, then balance it with ... Wow... I wish I had started with this pedal. I could have saved thousands of dollars chasing no more satisfying pedals from every corner of this planet.
