It was sprayed (either by the seller or from whomever she obtained this from - I have no idea as I didn't ask) with a scented spray which I presume will air out eventually. I don't like that kind of stuff although I realize a lot of people do. That won't keep me from buying again from this seller because the item was exactly what I was looking for.
