    great unit for mobile recording set up

    I record music in the box. just a focusrite 18i8 w/ Behringer ADA8000 into Sonar Platinum. having some rack products. it only made sense to get a tray and Velcro the focusrite in above the ADA. and light pipe them together. having the pullout feature helps with the odd scenario of having to get to the back of the unit instead of digging in thru the back. great unit! the only issue I had was I received the little locking pin that keeps the tray locked in broke during shipping. haven't needed to make the call to replace it. the tray in my SKB rolling case is pretty snug. just be aware that the rack takes up most of its one space. So any products like a tall interface or pedals your going to have to take into consideration how many more spaces they will take up in your rack. Hope this helps.
