Use A Jacket
When I first installed this tank it sounded a bit tinny. Played with my EQ and still sounded that way. Decided to put a jacket on the tank, soft vinyl amp cover material with a thin piece of cardboard covering the tank opening inside the jacket. This is what my old Randall spring reverb has, and I installed this one in an acoustic amp. Made a lot of improvement in the sound, much warmer now, sounds smooth. I'm real happy with this now, a great buy and I'm sure it can compete with the better name brands. Thanks.When I first installed this tank it sounded a bit tinny.
