Very Good Intermediate
Not sure why the previous reviewer gave 1 star but 100% reccomend action. Maybe a typo? I bought one like this for my son to get more practice at home when he was in middle school band. Should go without saying that it's a much better instrument than the rentals they had to share at school. His private instructor, a local band member, really liked it as well. Didn't mind telling us he was jealous and would love to own one like it!Not sure why the previous reviewer gave 1 star but 100% reccomend action. Maybe a typo? Yamaha horns are good, reliable instruments. Perfect for beginners and intermediate students alike. I've been recommending them to parents of my students for 25 years now. I also happen to own quite a few Yamaha horns! (Euphonium, alto sax, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, tenor sax).

Yamaha YEP 321 a Solid Choice
This is a great intermediate horn. It's got a nice smooth sound good for blending in or soloing. A very easy horn to play.
