    Great Book, a must have

This book I ordered and did not realize that I already had two in my bookshelf, I will pass the extra's on to others. This book is full of so many great recipes that my Mother nd Grand-mother made when I was a child. Love this book.

  • Paula Deen's Kitchen Classics

Being a Georgia girl, I'm a HUGE Paula Deen fan. I first bought this cookbook as a birthday gift for my cousin who is also crazy about Paula. Once my husband and I started looking at it, we knew we had to have one for ourselves. Naturally, I turned to eBay. The majority of Paula's recipes are exceptionally easy with just a few ingredients, most with a Southern flair -- from appetizers to desserts, and everything in between, like meatloaf, soups, and casseroles. There are also some fancy recipes. If you're like me and you love to cook but don't have a lot of time, this cookbook is for you. It has really helped us break away from our old menus and make some interesting and delicious dishes. This book is a combo of two of Paula's best cookbooks and I highly recommend it. Makes a great ...

  • The BEST cookbook ever!

I am a huge Paula Deen fan, and have spent alot of time DVR'ing her shows from Food Network. This WONDERFUL book saves me all that trouble and hassle! Try the Vidalia Corn Muffins (SO easy and delicious!) and the awesome Hurry Up CHicken Pot Pie! Another thing I really enjoy about Paula's cooking is that her recipes are very, very versatile. For instance, I took the pot pie recipe and have made several verions of it, just by subbing out the meat, stock, and veggies: beef pot pie with corn instead of peas, cream of mushroom soup instead of chicken, etc. Also wonderful made with cheese soup and broccoli, with water chestnuts and chicken stock! Paula's recipes are all about what's on hand, nothing super fancy to buy, easy cooking, and absolutely mouthwatering homestyle cooking - you'll ...

  • . The cookbook contains classic recipes

I have used this cookbook for several years and have made many of its recipes. Every single one of them has proven excellent. As a cook of 45 years, I would recommend this cookbook to everyone. The directions are easy to use, the ingredients easy to find, the results scrumptious. If you are looking for low fat recipes, this is not the cookbook to use. If you are looking for exceptionally delicious dishes to serve guests or take to a potluck, then this is the cookbook for you. What a wonderful Christmas or birthday gift this would make.

  • If It Is Southern Cooking You Seek, Look for Paula Deen

Nobody does southern cooking like Paula Deen. She represents some of the best the south has to offer. Her recipes are just good old down-to-earth home cooking fancied up a bit. Her wit and charm are present throughout the entire book. She explains how to make the recipe for anything that is out of the ordinary. Her style of writing makes you feel that she is in the kitchen with you as you try some of her fabulous recipes. I bought the book for a cookbook exchange that I participated in. The recipient was a Paula Deen fan and she loved it as much as I did. It was well worth the price paid and was in mint condition. The only thing I disliked about the book was it made me want to buy more of her cookbooks. lol
