    GREAT MIC STAND FOR THE MONEY

    Mic stands usually have 2 'tiers'... the $25 models that usually last 2 gigs, and the $100 models that last forever, but it kills you to spend that much dough on a mic stand. These Tama stands are in a middle ground. I paid a little over $50 each, but they seem to be as tough as the aforementioned $100.00 stands. The only ding i can give them is that the booms don't telescope. A small thing. I bought the chrome ones... The finish on the black stands (no matter which stand you buy) don't hold up well, and they look like crap in no time.

    Great stands, heavy-duty and quality machining.
