might be great, might not, time will tell.
I like certain things about it and have a few annoyances with it. Hard to believe there isn't a Vox model in any of the original choices. I assume I can add one by downloading the online stuff, if I can get it to work. It would be nice to be able to change amp models and move them around without going online. A lot of the models are just over-the-top gainiac things. Some are pretty good. The Diezel "clean" channel is actually a nice rock/blues crunch channel. I love the boost feature and the ability to move it before/after the amp. XLR out with switchable cab-sim is great too. Beyond that, I won't really know move until I can get a few gigs with it. But who knows when that will open up again. So I'm a little on the fence with it so far but I really like the idea behind it. I would say the ... Love This thing!
Definitely download the app and link up your phone. There are so many great amp sounds and even a good collection of overdrive and boost pedals. The best part is the live sound, though. It does not sound at all like a digital modeler. Very good and versatile buffet of gig worthy tones.

This might have been the perfect product if not for reliability issues. This is my second unit. Both would crash randomly and the second just bricked itself within the first week of ownership. It's a bummer as the user interface is just about perfect for a performance- oriented unit. If I could find one I could keep working, I would have been thrilled. Very underrated work tool.
In my opinion this is a very underrated work tool. Tons of amps, cabinet simulations, and the customization is pretty much endless. You can pretty much do everything from what tubes you want to use, to how the tubes are biased, two different mics, where the mics are placed on the cabinets, and tons of different cabinets to choose from. There are quite a few groups that you can join for this preamp and share amp patches and cabinets.In my opinion this is a very underrated work tool.
