I use this everyday. It has the ability to record multi track 2 at once, or (and what I use it for) is to record and then add more tracks to it. I have tracks that use 3 guitars all at once and it sounds amazing. Can have up to 8 tracks. Once you read the directions, you can get around it very easy. The only drawback I would say is, you must read the directions, it is a sophisticated recorder, that has many options available to the user, with this said, do not expect to plug in and jam. Once you figure out how it works, it will make you sound even better than what you are lol.
An excellent little stereo multi-track recorder. The DP-03 is very easy to use and makes great recordings. The on board effects, built in mics and its compact size make it great for the singer/songwriter or musician on the go.

It’s about as easy as the old cassette portastudio, but with more functions and better sound. A send to external effects would be a nice addition: I’m not sure why they left it out.

this is a good entry in home recording. it is able to bound all of your channeled recordings as one master record. My upgrade model will have not only more channels to record, but better EQ. ,

I got this as a gift for my son. He plays guitar, drums and is learning piano. He needed a system to record tracks. He loves this Tascam. I got this one because it had a built-in CD burner, which was important to him.
